The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is based upon the manga of the same name. The manga is written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The manga series was serialized in March 2018 and appears in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump. It has sold over 55 million copies of the popular supernatural manga in Japan.
