One of Japan's most beloved and always evolving franchises has been the original kaiju himself, Godzilla. Now a worldwide phenomenon, the original monster was simply a metaphor for the damage of World War 2 on a country. That inspiration grew from a monster that should be feared to a savior that protects us from much more dangerous creatures that threaten humanity.
Since his inception, the character of Godzilla has evolved and grown many times throughout his iterations. From a hero to children to a gargantuan behemoth who establishes a new world order, there is enough version of a character to be able to pick a favorite version. Some of the most dynamic versions of the character has even stemmed from its animated appearances.
Now, a new version of Godzilla is coming to Netflix in a brand new animated series titles Godzilla: Singular Point. The new show will feature a cast of new human characters along with some familiar kaiju faces like the hero of earth, Jet Jaguar, and Godzilla's old friend Anguirus!
