It's been over 30 years since Kentaro Miura revealed the prototype for his dark fantasy Berserk in 1988. It was feared that the artwork for for Chapter 364 was lost following Miura's passing, but Young Animal Magazine will release the final chapter on September 10th, 2021, drawn by Kentaro Miura before his passing. The upcoming issue of Young Animal Magazine will include bonus materials such as a Berserk poster highlighting some of the best scenes from the manga, a book entitled "Messages to Kenarou Miura", and more.
The Berserk manga series begain in 1989 after Kentaro Miura permiered a prototype of the title the year before. It was originally found in the pages of the now defunct Monthly Animal House magazine, and then in the semi-monthly magazine Young Animal in 1992. To date Berserk has been adapted into two anime television series, several video games, and has three films. It is unclear if the Berserk manga will continue after Chapter 364.
Miura passed away at the age of 54 due to aortic dissection earlier this year.
