Berserk is largely influential across a variety of mediums, particularly in video games. Without Miura astonishing creation, there would be no Dark Souls, Cloud wouldn't have his Buster sword, and games like Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma would be vastly different- if they would even exist at all.
Miura started Berserk in 1988 after in the Young Animal seinen manga magazine (then called Monthly Animal House) after garnering acclaim for working on a manga project titled Orō with Buronson. To date, Berserk has 40 volumes in circulation and over 50 million in sales across 15 countries.
