Dragon Goes House-Hunting, a new series written and illustrated by Kawo Tanuki and Choco Aya, respectively, became available via Seaven Seas Entertainment yesterday. Upon seeing the cover, a beautiful but humorus take on the more serious fantasy title cover we're used to, any reasonable manga fan will find themselves itching to, at the very least, explore the first volume of this series.
Too, the story of Dragon Goes House-Hunting promises a fresh take on a popular HGTV theme: real estate shopping! Only, instead of contending with perky realtors, mortgage lenders and house flippers, Letty, our emancipated hero, finds himself running from bands of warriors, determined to wear him as armor as he searches for his new abode.
Speaking from the perspective of someone who's been realty shopping in recent years, Letty's adventure sounds infinitely more exciting though, admittedly, far more perilous. Will he find the perfect den to call his own? I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
