Japan has always been known for its sprawling multimedia projects that tend to become both a phenomenon and brand all at the same time! One of these projects that have achieved some amazing heights is Hypnosis Mic - Division Rap Battle -.
The project itself follows various rap crews that have the ability to hypnotize their opponents when they use the mic during various rap battles. Since its release, the project has spawned stage plays, anime, and multiple manga. Recently, it was announced that even more titles would be expanding the world of the franchise early next year!
Three new series will be arriving in mid-January, with the first series, Hypnosis Mic -Before The Battle- Dawn Of Divisions, launching in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge. The second series, Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- side BB & MTC +, will be found in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius, and the final title Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- side FP & M +, will be released in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM.
Yuichiro Momose and Rui Karasuzuki will be taking on the first series while Umamisaurus and Kiiko Jō are taking on the second and third titles respectively. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new series in the usual spot!
Hypnosis Mic -Before The Battle- Dawn Of Divisions depicts the past of various characters, not just The Dirty Dawg, which was the spotlight in the previous series.
Hypnosis Mic -Before The Battle- Dawn Of Divisions will begin publishing on January 16th, 2021, Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- side BB & MTC + will start its publication on January 26th, 2021, and Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- side FP & M + will start on January 28th, 2021!
