In July, the TV anime adaptation of Masamune-kun's Revenge will finally make its debut after being delayed for a whole season. The much-anticipated second installment of the anime series will begin airing on July 3, it was announced today alongside the debut of the series' main image short trailer!

About Masamune-kun's Revenge R:
"I've returned to this town for revenge!" Eight years ago, Makabe Masamune, a weak and chubby boy, was harshly rejected by the beautiful Adagaki Aki. Now, he's lost a ton of weight, changed his name, and returned as a handsome teenage boy... all to make the "Brutal Princess" Aki fall in love with him so that he can reject her just as harshly as she did.
Masamune-kun's Revenge R is the continuation of the adaptation of the manga that was written by Hazuki Takeoka and illustrated by Tiv that began in 2017. The adaptation is being directed by Mirai Minato (The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious) at studio SILVER LINK., with series composition written by Michiko Yokote (Call of the Night), and character designs by Yuki Sawairi (The Dungeon of Black Company).
