We have some exciting new updates for the live-action film of Call Me Chihiro! ASMIK Ace Entertainment shared two new movie clips from Call Me Chihiro, the live-action movie based on the Chihiro-san comic by Hiroyuki Yasuda. Netflix describes the film:
An unapologetic former sex worker starts working at a bento stand in a small seaside town, bringing comfort to the lonely souls who come her way.
In the opening clip, Chihiro expertly converses with and serves the male patrons of her employer's Nokonoko Bento (set lunch) shop. A older coworker quips sarcastically that her adeptness in handling male customers is to be expected of a former sex worker. Although Chihiro claims that practically everyone in town is already aware of her past employment, the store manager wishes to keep it a secret.
In the second video, a kid approaches Chihiro as she is reading at a park and plays a toy snake prank on her. Don't undervalue grownups, Chihiro warns the youngster, seizing hold of his shirt. The youngster struggles to escape Chihiro's grip and eventually attaches a compass to her arm.
