Medical dramas have always been a beloved genre in many entertainment outlets. Maybe it is because f how hard the losses and victories hit the characters, or it could be because of how they act under pressure, but the genre has always had a universal appeal.
Even manga has taken steps in the genre, including a particular series by Tomohiro Yokomaku and Taishi Mori titled Radiation House. Launching in Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine, the series debuted in 2015 and has been in publication since with nine volumes and a live-action series released so far!
This past June, the series ended up going on hiatus, and for many months, there hasn't been any word on if it would return. Thankfully, the most recent issue of Grand Jump has confirmed that the book will be coming back early next month!
For fans who have been behind on the series, now is a great time to catch up! We would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!
The story centers on the medical professionals in the radiology department of a hospital. For example, medical radiographers use radiographs and CT scans to probe the causes of diseases and uncover pathological changes, while radiologists read the results and offer diagnoses.
Radiation House will return to the pages of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine on November 4th!
