Just four days after sending out its first Tweet, the official Snack Basue Twitter account revealed earlier this week that an anime adaptation is in the works by releasing a key image. The production's personnel, cast, release date, and format, among other details, have not yet been disclosed.

Since July 2017, Forbidden Shibukawa's Snack Basue manga has been serialized in Shueisha's Young Jump magazine. It follows the owners and customers of a small Hokkaido bar as they regale all kinds of humorous tales from their life.
