Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the license acquisition of the popular action-adventure manga Spriggan by Hiroshi Takashige and Ryoji Minagawa as a series of deluxe omnibuses.
The classic manga of super spies and ancient alien relics that inspired the 1998 anime film, a video game, and the upcoming Netflix Original anime series will be released in its entirety in English with four large-trim omnibus editions that will each include in at over 600 pages and a color illustration gallery.
Spriggan was serialzied in Shogakukan's manga magazines Weekly Shōnen Sunday and Shōnen Sunday Zōkan from 1989 to 1996.
Spriggan: Deluxe Edition 1 will be released in August 2022 and will retail for $29.99 in the United States and $39.99 in Canada. They will be available in print and through digital platforms.
