We have a new updated release for the anime adaptation of the SHY manga series! The release date of the anime adaptation of the SHY superhero manga, which was initially revealed in October of last year, has been confirmed to take place in 2023 by the official site for the anime The announcement wa officiallys made in Japan alongside the publication of the 18th volume of the manga, which took place earlier today.

Yen Press currently publishes the SHY manga in English, and describes the storyline:
In an age when superpowered defenders from each country have brought peace to the world, Japan’s representative is a timid young girl known as “Shy.” She may be embarrassed by the mere thought of slipping into spandex, but she’ll prove that despite it all, she still has the heart of a hero!
The SHY anime franchise will also be highlighted at this year's AnimeJapan trade event, which takes place later this month. The Bandai Namco Group will organize a sticker giveaway, and additional information about the adaptation will be disclosed. Eight-Bit will handle the anime adaptation, with Masaomi And as the director and Shino Shimoji playing the part of Shy/Teru Momijiyama. 2019 saw the start of the manga's serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion. It was written and illustrated by Bukimi Miki.
