Good news for those wanting to check out the live-action adaptaion of Kenichi Tachibana and Yū Sasuga's high concept, sci-fi manga. Tokyo's Roppongi Hills' TOHO Cinemas is currently showing the live-action Terra Formars film with English subtitles. While it's unlikely that a special screening will happen in the U.S., this news bolds well for the film's DVD/blu-ray release.
The Terra Formars film premired in Japan on Friday, April 29, during Golden Week. Takashi Miike directed the film from a script written by Kazuki Nakashima. A prequel to the film began streaming online, April 24th.
