Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and its anime spinoff have a new centerpiece to save up for. Prime 1 Studio has listed a 1/5 scale statue of Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and it is the first of three figures the company has planned from the series.
The piece is part of Prime 1 Studio's Concept Masterline, which means it is based on concept art rather than a straight screen capture. In this case, that art comes from Studio TRIGGER, the animation studio that made Edgerunners with CD PROJEKT RED.
Price, Edition Size and Release Window
Here is what Prime 1 Studio's Japanese store lists for the exclusive bonus version:
- Price: 153,890 yen including tax (139,900 yen before tax)
- Pre-order deposit: 19,586 yen
- Edition size: 400
- Estimated shipping: March to June 2028
- Estimated size: 39cm tall, 25cm wide, 23cm deep
- Estimated weight: about 2.23kg
- Material: polystone, with some other materials
The listing is marked as opening for pre-orders soon. In Japan, this bonus version is sold only through Prime 1 Studio's own online store, so collectors elsewhere will want to watch for regional availability.
A Netrunner Caught Mid-Dive
Anyone who has spent time jacking into the Net in Night City will recognize the pose. Lucy is shown moving between cyberspace and reality, with a green cable plugged into the back of her head and running down to the base.
That base is the standout feature. It has built-in LEDs designed to mimic the sterile look of cyberspace, and it features holographic goldfish swimming over Night City. Prime 1 Studio says the power source for the lights is still to be decided, so depending on the final version, you may need to buy batteries or a USB cable on your own.
On the sculpt itself, the company highlights Lucy's porcelain-like face and a gaze meant to look back at whoever is viewing her. Her hair blends through a color gradient, the interface on the back of her head has a cold texture, and her netrunner outfit uses different textures from part to part.
The Bonus Head Shows Her Hacking
The bonus version comes with an extra netrunning head. Its eyes carry patterns linked to Lucy's cyberware, which is meant to capture the tension of a hack in progress. A head stand is included as well, so you can show off the spare head next to the main statue rather than leaving it in the box.
The standard package includes the LED base and the regular head. Prime 1 Studio says each statue is finished by hand, so small differences between individual units are expected, and the company notes that final measurements may vary by around 10% from the prototype.
Rebecca and David Will Follow
Prime 1 Studio confirmed that Rebecca and David statues will open for pre-orders later, rounding out a trio from the anime. Prices, sizes and images for those two have not been shared yet.
In its announcement, Prime 1 Studio pointed to the anime's success, noting that Edgerunners won Anime of the Year at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2023. The show follows street kid David Martinez and a crew of ambitious edgerunners through Night City, with Lucy as the mysterious netrunner at his side, so starting the lineup with her makes plenty of sense.
It is a good stretch to be an Edgerunners fan. Cyberpunk 2077 recently got Update 2.5 with Edgerunners 2 content and dual-wielding, and Night City is back on Netflix with Edgerunners 2.
Is Lucy the character you would want first from Edgerunners, or are you holding out for David or Rebecca?
