Love can be very strange, and no anime exemplifies that quite like TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You. Based on Kenjiro Hata's Fly Me To The Moon manga, the series tells of a young man who confesses his love for a girl he likes at a young age; he ends up marrying this girl when they are both reaching adulthood, and the two begin their lives as a married couple.
As a manga, the series was a huge success for the fans and since its release, so has the anime! Streaming in both Japan and on Crunchyroll, the show has proven to be a highlight of the genre and gets better with each new episode.
A brand new video has recently been released that showcases the show's opening but without the credits! Fans will be able to enjoy the intro that they love while also taking in the lovely visuals that were created to help set the tone of the series.
Who knows what the future will hold as TONIKAWA continues to air! Make sure to check out the video below, and don't forget to share your thoughts in the usual spot!
The comedy follows a boy named Nasa who meets a "generally cute" girl named Tsukasa on the day of his high school entrance exams, and immediately falls in love with her. Nasa confesses his feelings, but her response is that she will only go out with him if they get married. Years later, on Nasa's 18th birthday, she suddenly appears to get married. Thus begins Nasa's newlywed lifestyle.
TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You is now streaming on Crunchyroll!
