We have some exciting news for fans of the light novel series Shangri-La Frontier! The light book and accompanying light novel series Shangri-La Frontier written by Katarina will be adapted into an anime later on in this year! A new trailer for the manga has been released, so while we still have a little bit of time to wait, we can get a little taste of what the series may be like!
The trailer contains the artwork of Ryosuke Fuji as well as performances by the actors of the anime adaptation, and it focuses on the most recent volume of the manga adaption. Listen out for Yuuma Uchida as Sunraku, Azumi Waki as Saiga-0, Yoko Hikasa as Arthur Pencilgon, Makoto Koichi as Oicazzo, and Akio Ohtsuka as Weiß Ash.

Toshiyuki Kubooka is the director of the animated film Shangri-La Frontier, and C2C is responsible for the creation of the film's animation. The series is scheduled to begin airing in Japan in October 2023, and it will also be available to watch online at Crunchyroll.
Katarina is the author of the original Shangri-La Frontier online novel, and Kodansha USA publishes both an English language version of the manga adaptation with artwork by Ryosuke Fuji as well as an English language version of the original web novel.
