Eiza Gonzalez, predominately known for he role as Santanico Pandemonium on From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series has joined the cast of Alita: Battle Angel. Robert Rodriguez has already assembled Rosa Salazar, Jackie Earle Haley, Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali and Christoph Waltz for key roles.
Gonzalez and Rodriguez are already familiar with one another from their work on the latter's El Rey network.
James Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis are writing the script, based on Yukito Kishiro’s revolutionary manga.
Most suprisingly, Variety also reports that Alita: Battle Angel will have a production budget of $175-$200 million.
