The Bleach television anime series adapts Tite Kubo's manga and it premiered in 2004 and concluded in March 2012 with a robust 366 episodes. Despite that large number of episodes, the anime concluded before the manga's end, which is currently still ongoing. Fans around the world are speculating that once Tite wraps up the manga, the original anime will resume or a new adaptation will be announced which sticks closer to the source material.
