First published in 2001, Tite Kubo's Bleach recently released its 72nd volume back in May. Today, the cover for the 31st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that Kubo is close to the end. Once one of the world's most popular serialized shonen manga's (alongside Naruto and One Piece) Bleach lost a number of fans after questionable storylines following the Arrancar arc. Do you think these readers can be drawn back to see how Ichigo Kurosaki's story ends?
An anime adaptation ran for 366 episodes from 2004 to 2012. There have also been several anime films and video games produced. The anime has also been featured on Cartoon Network's Saturday night Toonami programming block.
Kubo actually started the final arc (Quincy arc), some four years ago, back in February 2012 but Kubo did warn fans that his last storyline would be a LONG one.
