Even though they aren't as well-known as other great anime duos, they are prepared to leave their mark when they return to school in the upcoming anime prequel BLUELOCK: Episode Nagi this upcoming Spring! Today we finally got the release of a brand-new teaser image and the announcement of Subaru Kimura (Todo in JUJUTSU KAISEN) playing the role of Ryo Nameoka, the original character and leader of the squad that Nagi and Reo faced in their first-ever high school soccer match.

Subaru Kimura released the following statement in an interview about the anime film:

I'm Subaru Kimura, and I'll be playing the role of Namuoka!
I am very honored to be able to work on this ``Blue Rock the Movie -EPISODE Nagi-''!
I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know about the character Namuoka, but
I'm really looking forward to playing a mysterious character with no previous information.
This is because you can learn about the role from the beginning, assuming that you are playing the role yourself.
From now on, I would like to get to know the character of Ryo Namooka deeply and do my best to make this movie version a big hit. I will do my best!!
