A nice surprise for Castlevania fans as Netflix not only released an official trailer for the fourth season of Castlevania, they've also revealed the release date! You'll have to watch the trailer in its entirety to catch the release, but it's most likely much sooner than you might think.
Netflix confirmed that Castlevania season 4 was on its way back in March, so the fact that a fourth season was in the works wasn't a surprise. The fact that season 4 will be airing next month probably is as there have been very few teasers from the Castlevania cast and crew.
Castlevania season 4 will include 10 episodes and will serve as a conclusion to the story. It is rumored that a spin-off series is in the works, but no official word from Netflix on that front.
Castlevania is based upon the Japanese video game series of the same name by Konami. The first two seasons adapted Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse and followed vampire hunter Trevor Belmont and his party of monster slayers as they defend the nation of Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.
Dracula's influence looms large as Belmont and Sypha investigate plans to resurrect the notorious vampire. Alucard struggles to embrace his humanity.
