Not only has Funimation revealed the English cast and crew behind the popular post-apocalyptic anime Sabikui Bisco, they've also announced that the English dubbed episodes are now streaming and they've even released a new poster to celebrate!
The Sabikui Bisco anime is based upon Shinji Cobkubo and K Akagishi's light novels of the same name. The anime is directed by Atsushi Ikariya over at studio Oz. Sadayuki Marai has written the scripts and Masakazu Miyake handled the art direction.
Sabikui Bisco takes place in a post-apocalytic Japan that has been ravaged by rust and a deadly plague wind that effects everything it touches. It is believed that the plague-like wind originates from mushroom spores, making Bisco Akaboshi, a Mushroom Keeper who's arrows instantly sprout mushrooms wherever they land, a wanted criminal. Bisco and his trusty giant crab Akutagawa team up with Milo Nekoyanagi, a young doctor searching the wastelands for the legendary "Sabikui" - a mushroom that devours all forms of rust.
The English voice cast includes Kyle Igneczi as Bisco, David Novinski as Jabi, Brandon McInnis as Milo, Anastasia Muñoz as Pawoo, Brittney Karbowski as Tirol, and Josh Putnam as Kurokawa.
