The third season of the popular anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime has released its first official promotional video.
Ten new cast members have joined the show. Inori Minase (known for her work in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) will play the role of Maribel Rosso. Kenji Nojima (from Sailor Moon Crystal) will be playing the character of Leonard, while Eiji Takemoto (known for his role in Golden Kamuy) will be portraying Arnaud. Hajime Iijima (famous for his work in Ikki Tousen) will be playing Bacchus. Haruka Aikawa (known for her role in Otaku Elf) will be playing Ritus, and Wataru Komada (from Wise Man's Grandchild) will be portraying Garde. Other cast members include Taishi Murata (from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) as Fritz, Shōya Chiba (known for his role in BLUE LOCK) as Saare, Mari Hino (from THE PROMISED NEVERLAND) as Glenda, and Masashi Yamane (known for his role in My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer) as Grigori.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 is set to premiere on April 5 at 10:00 a.m. EDT on the NTV channel and 29 affiliates as a part of the "Friday Anime Night" programming block. It will also air on BS11 on April 6 at 10:00 p.m. Additionally, NTV will air two compilation specials of the first two seasons with newly recorded narration on April 3 and 4.
The show will air for two continuous courses (a quarter of a year) for a half-year run.
Atsushi Nakayama will be returning as the director of the series at 8-Bit, and Toshizo Nemoto will be overseeing the series scripts. Ryōma Ebata returns as the character designer, and Hitoshi Fujima from Elements Garden will be composing the music.
The opening theme will be "PEACEKEEPER" by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, the single of which will be released in Japan on May 29, 2024. The ending theme song will be "Believer" by Rin Kurusu. The ending theme song, "Believer," will be performed by Rin Kurusu.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is an anime adaptation of Fuse and Mitz Vah's light novel series, which is based on Taiki Kawakami's manga adaptation. The series first premiered in October 2018, and was streamed on Crunchyroll with an English dub available on FUNimation Entertainment.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a popular Japanese light novel series. It was written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The series was first serialized online in 2013 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Later, it was acquired by Micro Magazine, who published the first light novel volume in 2014. Since then, the series has been adapted into manga and anime television series.
The story of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old corporate worker living in Tokyo. He leads an unremarkable life and has never had a girlfriend. One day, he is fatally stabbed during a random street attack. As he succumbs to his injuries, he hears a mysterious voice reciting a series of commands which he cannot understand.
When Satoru regains consciousness, he discovers that he has been reincarnated as a slime in an unfamiliar world.
Satoru obtains some unique abilities as a slime, including the power to devour anything and mimic its appearance and skills. In his journey, he encounters Veldora, a 'Storm Dragon' who was sealed for 300 years for causing destruction in a town. Satoru befriends Veldora, and promises to help break the seal in exchange for Veldora's protection. To signify their friendship, Satoru adopts the name "Rimuru Tempest".
Rimuru's adventure in the new world is full of excitement as he meets various characters, including other monsters and humans. He becomes a leader among the monsters with the aim of creating a society where all beings can live in peace and harmony. Throughout the series, Rimuru faces many challenges, including battles against other powerful creatures and dealing with the politics of different nations.
