The upcoming Futoku No Guild TV anime adaptation's official social media pages and website have been updated with a teaser trailer that focuses on the major characters as well as listing the new cast and staff information. The series is set to premiere in Japan - October 2022.
Currently, the cast of the series includes Yuna Kamakura, Katsumi Fukuhara, Karin Isobe, Ayano Shibuya, Y Taichi, and Saho Shirasu. Takuya Asaoka is the director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is in charge of series composition, Ryo Shirasawa will lead music production, Hiraku Kaneko is in charge of character design, with TNK leading the charge of animation production.
The Japanese manga series Futoku No Guild was originally created by Taichi Kawazoe. Since June 2017, it has been serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine, Monthly Shōnen Gangan. As of March 2022, its episodes have been collected into nine tankōbon volumes. TNK's adaptation of this anime television series is scheduled to debut this Fall.
The premise of the manga is the guild's master monster hunter and commander, Kikuru Madan, is determined to step down from his leadership position. Before leaving the guild, he is asked to train and prepare his prospective replacement, Lolipai Martial-Artist, Hitamu Kyan. While on their escapades, Madan has to contend with his opponents repeatedly hitting on Kyan lustfully and passionately, which causes chaos and makes Madan wonder if he will ever be able to peacefully retire and stop squandering his youth.
