If you love watching the hectic adventures of Bell Cranel and the Hestia Familia then in you're in luck! A fourth season of the hit Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? TV anime adaptation was confirmed yesterday that will air in 2022.
Based on the ongoing light novel series from Fujino Ōmori and illustrator Suzuhito Yasuda, Studio J.C. Staff has produced three anime seasons to date- starting with a 13-episode first season in 2015, a 12-episode second season in 2019 and a 12-episode third season in 2020. While it looks as if there was a large gap between season 1 and season 2, there was a 2017 spinoff anime titled Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria which retold the events of season 1 from Ais Wallenstein's perspective.
To celebrate the news the official DanMachi Twitter account has released a teaser trailer which contains footage from previous seasons and confirms the season 4 release date in 2022.
In Orario, fearless adventurers band together in search of fame and fortune within the monstrous underground labyrinth known as Dungeon.
But while riches and renown are incentive enough for most, Bell Cranel, would-be hero extraordinaire, has bigger plans.
He wants to pick up girls.
Is it wrong to face the perils of Dungeon alone, in a single-member guild blessed by a failed goddess? Maybe. Is it wrong to dream of playing hero to hapless maidens in Dungeon? Maybe not. After one misguided adventure, Bell quickly discovers that anything can happen in the labyrinth--even chance encounters with beautiful women. The only problem?
