The Dangers in My Heart manga just announced through their official website two new characters and their accompanying cast members Tuesday! Check out the new cast members with their offical character desciption and pictures from the manga's website!
Yukari Tamura as Kana Ichikawa
Kyotaro Ichikawa's older sister. She is a college student who belongs to the light music club. She dotes on Kyotaro, and although she is a little annoyed, she is a good friend. She is called "onee" by Kyotaro.
Yukari Tamura describes her interpretation of her character:
I can relate to my younger brother Kyo-chan because I love him so much! I was so happy. No matter how old I get, my little brother is cute and I wonder if it's okay to be trivial? Are you doing well? I think it's something that makes you wonder. I would be happy if everyone could feel Kana-chan's love for her younger brother, and how cute Kana-chan herself is. Please look forward to it.
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haruya Nanjō
Ichikawa and Yamada's one-year senior. He is commonly known as "Nanpaisen" or "Nanpai". He is a flirty man and has approached Yamada many times.
Nobunaga Shumazaki describes his experience as his character:
Hello. I'm Nobunaga Shimazaki, and I'll be voicing Nampai. Nampai looks playful at first glance, but Nanjo Paisen is a pick-up bastard who is actually playful and goes to Mr. Yamada. But if that's all he has, that's not how it should be. After all, he is also human, so there are various things. I will happily do my best so that I can deliver various aspects of Haruya Nanjo in three dimensions. Thank you very much.

The anime will premiere on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the "NUMAnimation" programming block in April. HIDIVE will stream the anime as it airs in Japan.
Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san, Those Snow White Notes) is directing the anime at Shinei Animation. Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Sunshine!!, Sound! Euphonium, Steins;Gate) is in charge of the series scripts, and Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets ∬, The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie) is designing the characters. The composer kensuke ushio (Liz and the Blue Bird, Chainsaw Man, A Silent Voice) is scoring the music. Sakurai is credited with the original story.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga, and it describes the story:
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school's social ladder, secretly believes he's the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates' peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro's not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be...and it turns out Anna's a bit odd herself!
