One Piece is fast approaching the 1,000th episode milestone of the popular anime series and Toei Animation has released a brand new poster/artwork to celebrate the upcoming premiere! The battle between the Straw Hats and the Beast Pirates draws closer and the new key visual features Monkey D. Luffy duking it out with Kaido with Onigashima set as the backdrop.
Both the One Piece manga and anime series are hitting the same milestone this year (2021) and have celebrated with global character rankins, video specials such as "We Are One," and even news on the live-action series.

The One Piece Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, originally appeared in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1997. The manga spanwed a media franchise, including the anime series of the same name produced by Toei Animation. The anime was originally broadcast in Japan in 1999. It has seen 14 animated feature films, an OVA, and thirteen television specials.
One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
