The Pokemon Company has announced that the next batch of episodes for Pokemon Horizons: The Series will arrive on Netflix next month.

Specifically, part two of the anime series will debut on the streaming platform on May 10th, 2024, exclusively in the U.S.

The new episodes will continue the adventure of new series protagonists Liko and Roy — and their respective partner Pokemon, Sprigatito and Fuecoco — along with the Rising Volt Tacklers as they chart a course toward the Galar region.

The official synopsis reads:

Liko, Roy, and the rest of the Rising Volt Tacklers are charting a course toward the Galar region, seeking the truth about the legendary Ancient Adventurer and his Pokémon known as the Six Heroes. Along the way, Roy and Fuecoco find a new Pokémon partner, but an attack by the Explorers leaves Liko and Sprigatito feeling lost. Later, Dot and Quaxly team up, Roy and his Pokémon take on special training, and Friede reveals how he met Captain Pikachu. And when the Brave Olivine finally lands in Galar, friends both old and new await—along with fiery challenges from a Gym Leader and a seriously angry Galarian Moltres!

Liko has lost her memory and gone missing! To search for her, Iono and Nidothing team up for a collab stream where they announce a special game of hide-and-seek!

Pokemon Horizons: The Series debuted in the United States in March of this year. The series marked a major shift for the franchise which bid farewell to longtime protagonist Ash Ketchum and introduced two new protagonists, Liko and Roy.The series follows these two new stars who team up with the Rising Volt Tacklers, a group of adventurers who explore the world, including the Paldea region from the Scarlet and Violet games. In pursuit of them is another mysterious organization known as the Explorers who seek Liko's pendant for unknown reasons.

Pokemon Horizons: The Series is directed by Saori Den, with Daiki Tomiyasu as creative director, Tetsuo Yajima as action director, Dai Satō as script supervisor, Rei Yamazaki as character designer, and Conisch as music composer.

Twelve episodes have been released to date, with another batch set to arrive as Part 2 on May 10th. The new series can be streamed exclusively on Netflix in the United States.

The full synopsis for Pokemon Horizons: The Series reads:

Join Liko and Roy in the vast world of Pokémon! Liko is a student at Indigo Academy, where she’s learning to become a better Pokémon Trainer alongside her partner Pokémon, Sprigatito. She embarks on a journey to explore the mysteries of the world, and is joined by Roy, another young Pokémon Trainer who travels with Fuecoco as his partner Pokémon.

Throughout their adventure, they’ll discover amazing Pokémon on land, at sea, and in the air—everywhere from forests to cities. No matter where they go, they’re sure to have awesome encounters with Pokémon of all shapes and sizes.
