As of today's announcement, the TV anime adaptation of Bokuto Uno's Reign of the Seven Spellblades light book series will begin airing in July, marking the beginning of the school year at Kimberly Magic Academy. Featuring illustrations by Ruria Miyuki, the first volume launched in September 2018 with the 11th hitting shelves in Japan today. There's also a manga adaptation by Sakae Esuno that's serialized in Shonen Ace magazine. Yen Press publishes the series in English and sums up the story below:
Springtime at Kimberly Magic Academy, when new students begin their first year. One boy, clad in black robes with a white cane and sword strapped to his hip, approaches the prestigious school. This young man—Oliver—must form a bond with a katana wielding girl named Nanao if he's to survive the dangers he's to face at this school that is anything but what it seems!
