The digital horror/mystery manga series Summer Time Rendering (Samā Taimu Renda) recently released its 139th and final chapter on in the Shonen Jump+ app and surprised readers with the announcement that an anime adaptation is in the works, along with a live-action adaptation. Whether the live-action adaptation is a film or television series remains unclear.
There will also be a real-life escape room game based on Summer Time Rendering available to Japanese residents this Summer.
Tanaka stated the manga series in 2017 and has released 12 volumes to date. The 13th and final volume will be released on April 2.
