Traditionally, every March 14, otherwise known as White Day in Japan, it's the boys' chance to give back to the girls for what they received a month prior—except they're supposed to return two to three times the value. Although The Danger in My Heart's Kyotaro is handing an equally modest present in a newly released animated visual, the greater courage required more than makes up for it. This is is response to Anna's gift on Valentines (pictured below)!
There was also a previously released visual for Anna that was released on Valentines as a "gift" for fans. Check it out!
Seven Seas Entertainment, who publishes the manga's official English version, describes the series:
Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
The Dangers in My Heart is an anime series that is adapted from a manga written by Norio Sakurai. The series is directed by Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san, A Couple of Cuckoos) and produced by Shin-Ei Animation. Jukki Hanada (Bloom Into You) is responsible for the series' composition, while Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets 2) is in charge of character designs (Liz and the Blue Bird, A Silent Voice).
