Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton Has Been Pushed Back To Next Year For Release

Shueisha Games delayed Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton to 2027. Poncle still takes it to Tokyo Game Show this week. Eight-player survivors royale on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, and Steam.

Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton is not arriving in 2026 anymore. Shueisha Games and poncle moved the survivors royale to 2027. The Steam note says the team had been aiming at this year and pushed the date to deliver a better build. Platforms that you can play on stay the same: Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. No new quarter inside 2027. No price announced either.

Poncle is the studio that made Vampire Survivors. The game is that same play loop with a Culling Game and JJK coat. You pick a series character, auto-fire through cursed spirits, stack points, and try to outlast seven other people. Solo exists. Online caps at eight. Attacks trigger on their own. The work is movement, position, and when you spend a rule-changing effect.

Rule Additions are part of the Culling Game. Hit 100 points and you can flip a match rule to knock rivals around. Top two go to a 1v1 at the end. Unite Build lets you fold other characters' techniques into your loadout as the match runs. More than 20 playable faces were promised earlier, with signature kits and Domain Expansions. Randomized skills each match.

A new trailer went out with the delay. The trailer revealed eight bosses in pixel form: Naoya Zenin, Kenjaku, Junpei Yoshino, Jogo, Mahito, Uraume, Eso, and Toji Fushiguro. That tape is the consolation prize for losing the 2026 window. Check out the trailer below:

Tokyo Game Show 2026 still gets a world-first playtest later this week. The delay does not cancel the booth at the Game Show. If you are in Chiba, that is the only hands-on date on the public calendar.

Shueisha's English announcement is the standard delay paragraph. Best possible experience. Bear with us a little longer. Siliconera noted poncle has talked about post-launch patches the way Vampire Survivors grew, after feedback. So we will have to see how the game progresses over time.

Jujutsu Kaisen's anime TV side is still in MAPPA's Culling Game Part 2 / Season 4 pipeline. A delayed game next to an ongoing anime is normal for this franchise. The survivors-royale hook is the part that needed time. Eight-player netcode plus domain-scale screen clutter is a different job than a single-player horde arena.

If you wishlist it on Steam, the page now reads 2027. If you wanted it as a Switch 2 launch-year companion, that window closed. The TGS build is the next proof of whether the delay is polish or a rebuild.

Are you fine waiting a year for the game, or was 2026 the whole reason this was on the list? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
