Idea Factory International have announced that Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is coming to Xbox Series X|S this year. The game is releasing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is a spin-off RPG of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series. It follows the Older Neptune who is tasked with growing a previously defunct gaming studio with the help of three goddesses who have been defeated.

Within the Game Maker world, in order to acquire Shares, Game Makers have started to wage a battle for supremacy.
And so, a new Game Maker steps into the fray, attempting to endure the battle for survival in Gamindustri.
"Building a game studio requires strong developers, cutting-edge video games, and the expansion of your market," the description teases. "Choose wisely and become the biggest game studio of the year!"
While playing through the game, you can boost your party's stats with the help of creating games through disc development and choosing creators to work on your next hit game. A revamped battle system now allows for a 4-person party, chained attacks, and transformative specials. Additionally, you're now able to explore dungeons on a high-speed motorcycle.
Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution is developed by Idea Factory and Compile Heart. Tsunako serves as main character designer with Katsuyuki Hirano as character designer.
This game is a spin-off of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series of role-playing games. And yes, there is an anime television series adaptation, titled Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation. It was released in Japan in 2013, and was followed by three OVAs: Nepu no Natsuyasumi (2019), Nep Nep Darake no Festival (2022), and Hidamari no Little Purple (2023).
