Happy Elements' Ensemble Stars! franchise announced on their official twitter account Friday that they have a new anime project in the works! The new project is titled Ensemble Stars!! Tsuioku Selection "Element" and it will be officially debuting on April 6th. The franchise's website released a teaser promotional video showcasing cast and staff.
The anime will feature the cast from the Five Eccentrics and (Past) fine groups, which includes:
Five Eccentrics:
- Toshiki Masuda as Rei Sakuma
- Takuya Eguchi as Wataru Hibiki
- Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kanata Shinkai
- Hiroki Takahashi as Shu Itsuki
- Kenji Nojima as Natsume Sakasaki
(Past) Fine Groups:
- Kaito Ishikawa as Tsumugi Aoba
- Hikaru Midorikawa as Eichi Tenshoin
- Junichi Suwabe as Ran Nagisa
- Natsuki Hanae as Hiyori Tomoe
The Tokyo Garden Theater host cast members and will show the anime in advance on April 2.

The "Element" plot during the "Reminiscence Gathering of the Three Magicians" event from the game serves as the basis for the anime.
In June 2022, the English-language Ensemble Stars!! Music app was made available for iOS and Android devices in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and ten other nations. The Ensemble Stars!! Basic and Ensemble Stars!! Music applications were released by Happy Elements in March 2020. Fresh content for the idol series is included in the two apps, along with a new gameplay design. With the release, the name of the core Ensemble Stars game was changed to Ensemble Stars!! Basic. Players can carry on using the "Basic" app in the same way they always did. The Ensemble Stars!! Music app, in comparison, offers a brand-new rhythm game style of gameplay.
The "idol-training produce game" is held at a private boys' idol-training school that has a reputation for producing many top performers in the entertainment industry. The protagonist is the only female student in the institution who transfers in due to unique circumstances and enrolls in the production program. The game boasts a cast of more than 50 voice actors and 14 different idol units.
The game's television anime adaptation debuted in July 2019. A manga, novels, stage musical adaptations, and CDs are also part of the franchise.
The new theatrical anime movie for the Ensemble Stars! series, Ensemble Stars!! Road to Show!!, debuted in Japanese theaters in March 2022, where it debuted at #6. In April 2022, the film started playing in 13 additional cinemas. From that April through August, it was also accessible in Japan as a rental streaming title on Amazon Prime Video. The anime is set in New York, and it includes scenes of the group traveling there to take in an Idol Film Festival.
