Atlus put four more Investigation Team faces on YouTube. Persona 4 Revival now has character videos for Kanji Tatsumi, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and Yukiko Amagi, plus the earlier July clips for the protagonist and Rise Kujikawa. The Kanji reel dropped recently. Atlus West confirmed Daman Mills as his English voice. The whole English cast is new.
Persona 4 Revival is a full remake of the 2008 PlayStation 2 RPG, not a Golden port with a coat of paint. It launches February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC with Game Pass on day one, and Steam. Pre-orders are open. MAPPA is doing every animated cutscene. Persona 5 used Production I.G. for its anime sequences. This remake goes to the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man. Check out the clips below:
The Kanji sizzle is the loud one. Mills comes in on "What the hell are you pricks looking at?" then offers to join the detective work, thanks the team for saving him, and talks about using his Persona to keep Inaba quiet. Combat cuts sit under the lines. Troy Baker voiced Kanji on PS2. Matt Mercer took the part in Golden. Mills is the third English Kanji. At PAX West he described the character as masculine-leaning with a femininity he likes. That is the official note on a character the original games argued about in the school halls.
Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko already had August and July reels. Yuri Lowenthal is not coming back as Yosuke. Erin Fitzgerald, Golden’s Chie, posted that she was deeply grieving the recast and still loved the run. Producer Kazuhisa Wada told GamesRadar the team thought about a Yosuke romance because fans asked, then passed. Doing Yosuke would have meant building the same route for the other guys. Schedule said no. Wada also said Revival’s Yosuke would sit better in the world people live in now. No full script of those changes is public.
Persona 4 Golden on Vita in 2011 is still the version most people mean when they say they played P4. Arena, Ultimax, and Dancing All Night spun the same cast into fighters and a rhythm game. Persona 3 Reload in 2024 was the template: new models, new English voices, Game Pass on day one, later a Switch 2 version in October 2025. Revival is that playbook pointed at Inaba’s fog and TVs.
The new videos are recruitment ads, not dungeon tours. You get personality, a few battle swings, and the promise that the social links still exist in a 2027 engine. No published list of every English name beyond Mills and the fact that the old leads are out. No Switch date. No statement that Golden’s extra dungeon and Marie package are in or out beyond Marie showing up in earlier footage.
February 18 is five months out. Game Pass means a chunk of Xbox and PC players will boot it the same night without a separate purchase. PS5 and Steam buyers pre-order the usual way. If you wanted Baker’s Kanji or Lowenthal’s Yosuke, this is a different recording session. If you wanted MAPPA cutscenes of Junes and the same murder weather, then this is the game for you.
