To commemorate the upcoming release of the Tales of Symphonia role-playing game remake, Bandai Namco started streaming the first episode of Tales of Symphonia: The Animation on YouTube on Wednesday and we have it embedded below!
The official Japanese Tales of Twitter account announced that all 11 episodes would be available to watch on YouTube, with a new episode launching every Wednesday. The English Twitter account is vague about whether and when new episodes will be broadcast. The anime is available for streaming in Japanese with English, Spanish, French, and Italian subtitles.
The anime was released on home video under a license from Discotek. The anime is being streamed on Crunchyroll.
In 2007, the first four volumes of the original anime video series Tales of Symphonia were released. Tales of Symphonia the Animation: Tethe'alla Episode, a four-volume continuation, launched in 2010. Tales of Symphonia the Animation: The United World Episode, the three-volume sequel, launched in 2011.
On February 17, Tales of Symphonia Remastered will be made available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Additionally, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are both compatible with the game.
