Funimation Announces New York Comic Con Schedule Including DEMON SLAYER And MY HERO ACADEMIA Panels

Funimation has revealed their NYCC schedule and it includes panels for both My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer, as well as an event for Funimation subscribers!

Funimation has announced their schedule for next month's New York Comic Con (NYCC), and it includes some panels and events that are sure to get anime fans excited!

NYCC attendees are invited to escape the typical 'Con bustle and crowd at the Funimation: Sakura Park. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a branded food truck, search for hidden easter eggs, take one-of-a-kind photos using the backdrops and faux cherry blossom trees, participate in a professional cosplay photo shoot, win exclusive giveaways, and more. There will also be Funimation Shop adjacent to the park for those looking for something to take home with them.

Thursday will see Funimation kicking off the convention with its Anime Lives Here: Funimation Panel that will offer insigts into what's new and exciting in the world of anime, as well as a subscriber event that same evening. On Friday there will be a My Hero Academia panel including the English dub voice actors from the third film in the series - My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission - which will be landing in US theaters at the end of October. On Saturday Funimation will be wrapping up the New York Comic Con with a look back at the record breaking Demon Slayer - Kimtesu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train and will include the English dub voice actors from the series and film.

Where: The Press Lounge (653 11th Ave. at 48th St., 16th floor, New York, NY, 10036)
What: Funimation invites its subscribers to a one-night only celebration of anime at NYC’s premier rooftop bar at The Press Lounge, blocks away from the convention center. The event is free on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited capacity and attendees must RSVP, be 21+ years of age, and must show their NYCC badge, proof of Funimation subscription and proof of COVID-19 vaccination. My Hero Academia New Movie Panel

What: Your sneak peek into the next chapter of the global anime phenomenon starts here. Presented by Funimation, the panel includes an exclusive preview of My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission before the movie hits theaters October 29!

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Panel
When: Saturday, October 9 (2:30pm - 3:30pm EST)
Where: Jacob K. Javits Convention Center - Empire Stage
What: Board the Mugen Train once again! Presented by Funimation, this panel is your deep dive into Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train. Join the English voices of some of your favorite characters as they discuss everything from heart-wrenching scenes to moments that fans love most. Panelists include Aleks Le (Zenitsu), Abby Trott (Nezuko), Landon McDonald (Enmu), and Lucien Dodge (Akaza - Upper Three) along with a special video message from Zach Aguilar (Tanjiro), Bryce Papenbrook (Inosuke), and Mark Whitten (Rengoku).

The New York Comic Con takes place October 7th through October 10th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
