It's been revealed that Netflix's Godzilla Singular Point TV anime will be released in Japan on March 25. The series will  released new episodes weekly on Netflix Japan but it's likely that similar to other Netflix original anime, North American Netflix subscribers will have to wait until the 13-episode first season finishes airing in Japan before all episodes are released at once over in the states.

For this ambitious project, Netflix teamed Studio Bones and Studio Orange to showcase an epic throwdown between Gojira and Jet Jaguar.  Studio Bones is currently riding high with My Hero Academia and previously worked on the Netflix originals Carole & Tuesday and Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan. Studio Orange is best known for the Netflix original Beastars.

Atsushi Takahashi will serve as director while Blue Exorcist’s Kazue Kato provides character designs with famed Studio Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori (Spirited Away) designing the legendary kaiju.

I hate how Netflix releases anime in the west, we should get the weekly subbed broadcast.
It’s about time we got a proper look at Godzilla in this series, the head looks weird (maybe it’s the angle). I’m hyped for this series!
