This year's 49th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine revealed earlier this week that esteemed manga writer Naoki Urasawa (Billy Bat, Pluto, Monster, 20th Century Boys) is launching  a new series in the magazine next year. No further details regarding the project were released but Naoki's name alone should draw interest from quite a number of fans.

The 49th issue also featured a one-shot titled DAMiYAN! but it's currently thought that the new series will be an entirely new work.  North American fans shouldn't hold their breath however, as there's yet to be an English translation of Billy Bat licensed by a publisher.
