The monthly shonen manga journal Shonen Magazine Edge, published by Kodansha, announced today that it will sadly be discontinuing the publication with its final November issue, which will go on sale in Japan on October 17.
Shonen Magazine Edge, which began its publication in September of 2015, is the publisher's replacement for Monthly Shonen Rival, which ceased publication in June 2014. The magazine's title was chosen with the intention of "publishing the outermost and sharpest works of the Magazine group." Two manga series from the magazine—Ao-chan Can't Study! by Ren Kawahara (by SILVER LINK in 2019) and Otaku Elf by Akihiko Higuchi (by C2C in 2023)—were two of the published titles from the magazine that were turned into TV anime.

Some serialized works will continue to be serialized in media suitable for the work, including Kodansha's comic application "Magazine Pocket".
Regarding the media of the transfer destination, we will announce it in the November issue, which will be the final issue.
