In the world of storytelling, no concept attracts a horde of fans like the word "vampire" does. From horror to romance, a story with a vampiric protagonist brings to mind some of the most primal and genuine emotions that a person can feel. From Dracula to Twilight, vampires will always be apart of media, and if you can't beat them, you may as well join them.

Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) has decided to give the vampire genre a try with the brand new anime, VladLove. The series follows two young girls, one who loves giving blood and the other who may love blood a little too much. After taking the strange girl home because she looked deathly ill, the young girl who loves to donate blood finds herself in a whole new world she never would have suspected.

Initially, the series was mean to be released in the Fall; however, due to a delay from COVID-19, the only thing that has released was a special version of the first episode on Youtube. Now, it has been confirmed that the series will be releasing in Japan this February; however, it will only be on Abema and the Amazon Prime Video streaming service.

While there is still a couple of months ahead of the series's release, it is nice to know that the show will be coming out rather than being delayed like so many other shows have been this year. We would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!

Instead, she suddenly starts trashing the blood bank. The girl then loses consciousness and so Mitsugu takes her home...
