Funimation has announced that Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is set to begin streaming next month as part of their Fall 2021 anime season lineup.
The Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside anime follows "Red," who has been banished from his adventuring party. he soon finds a brighter future in a small town with a cute girl, and learns that living well can sometimes be the best revenge.
Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside is from Wolfsbane and Studio Flad. The anime series include voices by Ryota Suzuki (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Red and Kanaon Takao (The Detective Is Already Dead) as Rit it will be available via Funimation's streaming app and service beginning October 6th, 2021.
The anime series is an adaptation of the light novels of the same name written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. It was first serialized online in October of 2017 through the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. A manga adaptation with art by Masahiro Ikenso began appearing in Kadokawa Shoten's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Ace in May of 2018.
