Kawo Tanuki and Choco Aya's Dragon Goes House-Hunting manga will be receiving an anime adaptation from Studio Signal.MD this Spring. Funimation has just announced that they will be streaming the series with an English-dub thanks to a new trailer. You can check out the new footage in the Tweet below.

Haruki Kasugamori is directing the series which started out as a manga in the pages of Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden magazine in December 2016. The series is comedic in nature as a dragon is cast out of his fearsome family for being a coward and must find a new place to live. That's easier said than done as this mystical land is full of powerful knights, magicians, elves, dwarves and more who would all love to take him out and use his scales and body parts for armor and other magical items.

Dragon Goes House-Hunting will debut in a packed Spring 2021 anime season that includes

  • My Hero Academia season 5
  • How Not to Summon a Demon Lord season 2
  • To Your Eternity
  • Zombieland Saga season 2
  • Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2
  • the Shaman King remake
  • Megalo Box season 2
  • I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home
  • I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level
  • Edens Zero
  • Tokyo Revengers
  • A Romantic Comedy Where the Childhood Friend Absolutely Will Not Lose
  • It's Disgusting to Call This Love
  • Mars Red
  • The World Ends with You: The Animation
  • Godzilla: Singular Point
  • Pacific Rim: The Black

The spring season will also see So I'm a Spider, So What? continuing on from the winter season. With the country still not completely back to normal as the coronavirus pandemic tapers off, anime fans will have plenty to watch as they wait for gathering restrictions to lift.

When a dragon fails to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home, but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend. In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, where everyone wants a piece of him—literally!—the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level.
