Fans waiting on the next chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime now have a date to circle. The official Jujutsu Kaisen anime website has confirmed that the latest news on Season 4, The Culling Game Part 2, will be shared during the series' Jump Super Stage at Jump Festa 2027.
The announcement went out earlier today (October 19th) alongside the cast lineup for the stage, which takes place on Saturday, December 19th, from 3:25 PM to 3:55 PM JST.
Who Is Attending The Stage?
Four cast members from the anime will appear on stage at Makuhari Messe:
- Junya Enoki as Yuji Itadori
- Mikako Komatsu as Maki Zenin
- Kazuya Nakai as Kinji Hakari
- Daisuke Namikawa as Choso
According to the official site, the stage will look back on Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, which began airing in January 2026, before moving on to the latest information about Season 4. The lineup makes a lot of sense for that, since Yuji, Maki, Hakari, and Choso all play major roles in the Culling Game arc and are central to where the story heads next.
The site also includes a warning that the stage may touch on story content that has not yet been covered in the anime, so viewers who only follow the show might want to keep that in mind before tuning in.
Fans Can Send Questions To The Characters
The Jujutsu Kaisen production team is also running a fan campaign tied to the stage. Fans can submit questions they want to ask Yuji, Maki, Hakari, or Choso, and the characters themselves will answer selected questions during the event. Submissions are open until Sunday, November 1st, at 11:59 PM JST.
Details on how to watch the stage, whether in person or through a stream, will be shared on the official Jump Festa 2027 website. The event runs across December 19th and 20th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and it is usually one of the biggest weekends of the year for Shueisha anime announcements.
What We Know About Season 4 So Far
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 will adapt the second half of the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami's manga, picking up where Season 3 left off. MAPPA has not yet announced a premiere date or window for the new season, which is why the Jump Festa stage has fans paying close attention. A new trailer, key visual, or release window would all be on the table for an event like this, though the official site has only said that the latest information will be shared.
Season 4 was confirmed right after the Season 3 finale in March, and MAPPA has been drip-feeding updates since then. A teaser video arrived in June during MAPPA's 15th anniversary lineup event, which also revealed that Takeru Sato, the assistant director on Season 3, is stepping up to direct the new season. That was followed in late August by a teaser visual of Sukuna revealed during Juju Fes 2026. Neither update came with a release window, so Jump Festa is shaping up to be the next big opportunity for one.
The Culling Game arc is one of the most action-packed stretches of the manga, with plenty of fan favorite fights still to come. Hakari in particular has built up a big following, so seeing Kazuya Nakai on the stage lineup is sure to get people talking about how much of his story the next season will cover.
Shueisha's other big series will be at Jump Festa 2027 as well, with Chainsaw Man confirming its own Super Stage on Sunday, December 20th, featuring Denji voice actor Kikunosuke Toya and a teased surprise guest.
Would you rather see a full trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 at Jump Festa 2027, or would a confirmed premiere date be the bigger win for you?
