About Jujutsu Kaisen
Yuji Itadori is a young man who attends a completely typical high school, despite the fact that he possesses an incredible amount of physical strength. One day, in an effort to save a fellow student who is under the influence of curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, absorbing the power of the curse into his own being. After that, he and Ryomen Sukuna are contained within the same body. Itadori is able to gain admission to Tokyo Jujutsu High School thanks to the assistance of one of the most powerful sorcerers, Satoru Gojo. This school is dedicated to removing curses from the world. And with that, the heroic story of a boy who became a curse in order to exorcise a curse begins, a life from which he could never turn back.
The anime series Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the best-selling manga of the same title, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump and has sold over 60 million copies in Japan. In the US, the series is published by VIZ Media. The anime series was named "Anime of the Year" by the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2021.
