Winner Of NARUTO99 Character Pole Set To Publish This Summer

The worldwide character pole for NARUTO99 announced its first place winner as Minato, which will continue the Naruto storyline this summer with its one-shot manga!

After a seven year hiatus, Masashi Kishimoto will be releasing a brand new piece of Naruto in the form of a one-shot! Kishimoto has hinted that the plot of the one-shot would be about the "secret story behind the development of Minato's technique." 

You can see the announcement made yesterday below:

Minato, the Fourth Hokage and Naruto's father, recently took first place in the NARUTO99 international character vote. It was confirmed over the weekend that the one-shot would be published in Weekly Shonen Jump this Summer!

The original Naruto manga was created by Masashi Kishimoto and published in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1999 to 2014. This manga served as the basis for the anime series Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Alongside these anime titles, BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS is also currenlty available to watch on Crunchyroll's streaming services.
