It shouldn't be news to One Piece anime fans that the 1000th episode is set to premiere next month! What may be news to some is that today is in fact One Piece's 22nd anniversary! Originally premiering on October 20, 1999, One Piece has become one of the most popular and beloved anime franchises in the world. In one month the Straw Hat crew will sail again on November 20, 2021 when it begins streaming through Funimation's official app and streaming service in the U.S. and Canada.
