Dr. Squatch and One Piece have teamed up again, and the Straw Hat crew is getting bigger. The men's soap brand has brought back its limited edition One Piece collection with a brand new scent inspired by Sanji, which joins the Luffy and Zoro soaps that first hit the brand's store last year.
The new scent is called Blue Flame Fresh, and it is available as both a bar soap and a deodorant. Dr. Squatch announced the return to its email subscribers with the line "One Piece Returns. And meet ALL NEW Blue Flame Fresh, now joining our Straw Hat Crew-inspired scents." The products went live on the official Dr. Squatch store earlier this month, and they are listed as limited edition items.
Sanji Gets His Own Scent
Blue Flame Fresh is the headline addition. Dr. Squatch describes it as a light grit bar made with olive oil, with notes of crisp air and salted driftwood. The product page goes into more detail, saying the scent opens with crisp bergamot and sea air before moving into tea and subtle spice, then settling into amber and driftwood. The brand sums it up as "fiery, yet impossibly smooth."
The deodorant version layers sea salt and bergamot over tea and spice, resting on driftwood and musk. Dr. Squatch says both were inspired by Sanji's fiery spirit, and the email jokingly lists the scent as smelling like Diable Jambe, the Straw Hats cook's signature flaming kick technique. The name itself fits nicely with the blue flames Sanji's kicks picked up during the Wano arc.
Sanji was an obvious pick for the next scent. He is one of the most popular members of the crew, and fans asked for more Straw Hats almost as soon as the first collection launched. When one fan asked Dr. Squatch on X last year whether more crew members were coming, the brand replied that "Those are all the One Piece soaps and deo that we're planning, but man are they FIRE." Plans clearly changed.
Luffy And Zoro Are Back
The original two scents are returning alongside Sanji. Straw Hat Bricc and Straw Hat Sticc are inspired by Monkey D. Luffy. The bar is a light grit soap featuring devil's claw extract, a cheeky nod to Luffy's Devil Fruit, and the scent mixes zesty citrus with clove, star anise and woody amber. Dr. Squatch describes it as "Fresh, bold, and built for life on the open sea."
Zoro's Three Sword Surge is a medium grit bar named after his Three Sword Style. It features swordgrass extract, and the scent pairs sharp yuzu and green apple with sake and violet leaf, finishing on cedarwood and vetiver. The brand calls it "focused, powerful, and unwavering," while the email says it smells like relentlessness, which is about as Zoro as a soap can get. Three Sword Surge is a bar only, so there is still no Zoro deodorant.
Prices And Bundles
The One Piece collection page currently offers two bundles. The One Piece Deodorant 2-Pack costs $27 and pairs Straw Hat Sticc with Blue Flame Fresh.
The bigger option is the Pirates' Treasure Trove, an 8-piece set that includes two bars each of Blue Flame Fresh, Straw Hat Bricc and Three Sword Surge, plus the two deodorants. It is listed at $75, although the store was showing it 5% off at $71.25 at the time of writing.
Fans who only want a single bar will need a subscription. Dr. Squatch says the individual soaps are available to subscribers only, who can add them to their next shipment.
The first run of the collab was limited too. When the Luffy and Zoro scents launched last year, Dr. Squatch warned on X that its "ONE PIECE soaps and deodorants will set sail once they've sold out!" The returning collection carries the same limited edition label, so there is no telling how long it will stick around.
A Big Stretch For One Piece Fans
The timing works out well for the franchise. The One Piece anime from Toei Animation is in the middle of the Elbaph arc, and the English dub of that arc premiered this week. The official ONE PIECE Mugiwara Store in Los Angeles is also set to open at Westfield Century City on November 6, 2026, giving fans in the US another place to pick up official merch.
On the live-action side, Netflix's One Piece series has kept the Straw Hats in front of a huge audience, with Taz Skylar playing Sanji. That show has helped bring plenty of new fans into Eiichiro Oda's world, and personal care brands are clearly paying attention.
Dr. Squatch has made a habit of these pop culture team-ups. Its limited edition lineup also includes collections tied to Dragon Ball Z, The Terminator, Harry Potter and American Psycho, among others. Bringing the One Piece line back with a new character added is a good sign that the first wave connected with fans.
The full One Piece x Dr. Squatch collection is available now on the official Dr. Squatch website.
