POKÉMON GO: Niantic Drops The Ball By Choosing Starly To Follow Deino For July's Community Day Event

Any good Pokémon trainer knows that the name of the game is to catch them all, but Pokémon Go has proven that they can range in popularity by choosing to spotlight Starly after their month of Deino.

Are all Pokémon created equally? That's likely the question on the minds of many PokémonGo trainers headed into the month of July.

The starling Pokémon, Starly, is certainly adorable enough on its own. On top of that, it has an evolutionary like that includes Staravia and Staraptor, both of which are cool looking in their own way.

These traits make Starly great as a Pokémon in general, but with Niantic announcing the creature to be the focus of July's Community Day event, it has trainers wondering how a glorified Pidgey could match up to June's Deino.

Luckily bonuses come along with the dates so players who are uninterested in catching the little birds can still enjoy 3-hour lure time, 3 times catch XP, and 2 times the Candy amongst more. Check out the full press release of the information below!
