Big news for fans of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury! The first new Gundam television anime series in seven years, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (Kid Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo), will receive a side story manga that will begin serialization in the magazine in the spring, according to an announcement made in the March issue of Kadokawa's Gundam Ace magazine on Thursday.
The manga's illustrations are done by Chika Tj, while K Yoneyama is the author of the story. HISADAKE is in charge of organizing the collaboration, while mogmo is recognized for the creation of the unique characters. It will be fun to see how the characters turn out!

A novelization of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury began running in Gundam Ace in November.
The series has a female lead for the first time in the main Gundam television anime series. The anime first broadcast in Japan on MBS and TBS on October 2, at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. On January 8, the anime's first season came to an end with the 12th episode. The second episode of the anime will show in April on MBS and TBS at the same time as the first episode on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The anime was streamed live by Crunchyroll.
The show's precursor episode, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury - Prologue, made its international debut on the Gundam.info YouTube channel on September 1. The prequel anime likewise made its debut on streaming services on September 4 in Japan, and on September 25 it aired on MBS and TBS.
On November 10, the official website for the anime released an English version of Ichiro Okouchi's "Cradle Planet" prequel short tale. The anime's opening theme song "Shukufuku" (The Blessing) by YOASOBI is based on this tale, which is recounted from the perspective of the Gundam Aerial. The short tale was released on October 2 on the anime's Japanese website.
